Connecting your headphones to your device

Connect the USB Type-C connector to the USB-C port on your device.

Notes:
Not all devices with USB-C ports allow audio output.

  • Those that do include:
    • Modern Windows laptops
    • Macs with USB-C/Thunderbolt ports
    • iPads or iPhones with USB-C
    • Most Android phones
  • The following may not work. For more information refer to the device manufacturer:
    • Some Android phones with limited USB-C implementations
    • Certain budget tablets
    • Game consoles with USB-C ports
    • Monitors, docking stations, routers, battery packs, and other devices that have USB-C but don't provide audio
Using adapters: USB-C headphones may not work with adapters that connect to a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Most USB-C headphones require a digital USB audio connection, while a 3.5 mm jack provides analog audio only. For best compatibility, connect the headphones directly to a USB-C port that supports USB audio.
