  • Order a free replacement battery pack, if applicable

Go to the S1 Pro Battery Recall Landing Page

If your battery pack is confirmed to be included in the recall, stop using it immediately and follow the removal and disposal instructions provided on the landing page.

How do I dispose of my recalled battery pack?

Disposal requirements for recalled lithium-ion batteries vary by location. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery pack for disposal. Before taking your battery pack to a HHW collection center, contact that office ahead of time and ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance on safely disposing of recalled lithium-ion batteries, including identifying any free disposal services available in your area.

Can I send my affected battery pack back to Bose?

No, customers should dispose of impacted battery packs in accordance with their local requirements for recalled lithium-ion batteries.

I'm located outside of a region where replacements are currently being processed. Can I still get a replacement battery pack?

We are currently communicating with the authorities in your jurisdiction regarding the recall and will be able to begin processing replacement battery pack requests once we have their approval. Please check you local Bose Support website at a later date to initiate a request for your replacement battery pack. In the meantime, it is safe to continue using your S1 speaker while connected to AC mains power without the battery pack installed.
