Regular charging

When the battery is attached and the system is connected to power, the battery charges. A full charge can take up to 5 hours.

Quick Charge mode:

When the system is not in use, set the power switch to the down position to enable Quick Charge. In this mode, a full charge can take up to 3 hours.

Note: The battery charges to 97% in up to 3 or 5 hours (depending on the charge mode). To prolong the life of the battery, the remaining 3% is a slow trickle charge, which can result in the charging light flashing for up to 12 hours. Additionally, extreme temperatures can slow charge time.

Lithium batteries have a built-in auto-off feature when a full charge is reached to prevent the battery from being overcharged. Even while still plugged in, the battery level will have to drop below a certain point to trigger the charging again.
